That is lovely! We have some Hungarian agates that we got a few years ago. We mainly got them so Vince could polish one up to give to his mom because of the Hungarian ancestry on his mom's side.

ETA - You're the first person I've ever seen post a Hungarian Agate, so I added one below for folks who might've never seen any. - End Edit.
Yeah, spiritstone - wow! Looks like you might've saved the best one for last. Don't think any of the ones we have left are that brightly colored.
Robin posted above about the ones we got. Here's the one slab and the shadow box I gave to Mom for Mother's Day that year.
It was cool to get those directly from someone there. He said he picked out that stamp especially for the parcel after I told him why I wanted them.

hummingbirdstones2 Thanks!Nothing wrong with that one you have especially cabbed, havent gotten that far with any of it. I saw them a few years back on Ebay, I was getting them direct from the source cut and uncut as you did out of Hungary. I recognize his name on fb when sometimes he posts pics of his finds on agate collectors worldwide, but I havent gone back to Ebay since all the changes. I have an orange one that bleeds color like that one in pic, but this one hands down surprised the shit out of me with the red and purple

How cool. I don't know if we got them from the same guy or not, but there are only two listed on the Minerant database. They both have really nice ones on their websites, but don't seem to have any current sales pages.
We got ours from Janos. I don't remember if he ever sold on eBay. He joined a different forum for a short while and then disappeared. I cut out his hand-written return address and put it on the back of the shadow box for a little extra "provenance".
The only ones I could find on eBay just now are all cabbed - and all from India... . Bummer... .
