Here is the next batch. Very likely, there won't be much comments on these moving forward. All of the photos are going to be large close ups, because they were taking prior and I can't change that now. Thank you for stopping by.
P067 - Stromatolite Teardrop - 20 gauge Parawire. It mars just by looking at it.
P068 - Holt Canyon Jasper Fail Oval - 20 gauge. Spent 4 hours attempting a new design. Failed and took it all apart to salvage this.
P069 - Lavic Jasper Teardrop Halo - Second attempt at halo. Pulled it off. Mimicking an element on a piece Tela had done.
P070 - California Green Christmas Tree - More attempts with prongs. Chubby stone.
P071 - South Cady Jasper Teardrop - Small stone, delicate 26 gauge. Like the colors of these new rocks
P072 - North Cady Jasper Agate Halo - Third attempt at halo. Accidently crimped down the outside wire. oops. Can't come back from that.
P073 - 3 Kids Jasper Hematite (i think) - Ugly, fat, unusual rock. Decided to get it off the work bench.
P074 - Anniversary White Agate - Hard to capture the stone in pictures. When turned, the insides reflect light.
That is about all for now. Thanks for stopping by.

Very nice. Yea I’d wind up with the metal all wrapped around myself with the stones on the floor.

I've had a wrap where the stone didn't want anything to do with the wire when all was said and done, and the stone went back on the bench to sit, and the wire got all balled up and thrown against the wall.

Very pretty! I love that Anniversary white agate. It's beautiful. Thank you! It is not hard to find either. It has these streamers or threads of light reflecting kinds of (cracks?) or fissures inside that reflect light. So it is a pretty stone to hold. But it is prone to having fractures going all the way through it too, and just breaking in half in your hands as you are grinding it.
I don't know about you, but my heart sinks a little bit, and it always scares me when half of the stone I am holding on to, breaks off the host, and starts bounding around in the metal tub. It catches me by surprise every time!

Thank you for the kinds words folks. I am still learning every day. But I am getting better. What used to take over 4 hours, now usually takes less than half of that.
Soon I expect to be able to crank out these clumbsy, botched efforts in wire at a much more rapid pace!
