Well I will be putting up my entire workshop after the first of the year. Health limitations forces me into this position. I will be listing this equipment to you some of which has never been used!! Several tumblers, 18" and two 10" saws along with a Genie and a HP grinding unit....stay tuned!!!

Sorry to hear your health isn't allowing you to continue cutting. Robin and I have had to help two different club members (and friends) liquidate their equipment over the past couple of years. We were glad to be able to repay them for their guidance and support by helping them out - but sad that it had to be that way.
Would like to wish you the best with your health situation, and also with the sale of your equipment.

Sucks to see someone in my neck of the woods having to put aside things! But will be watching to see what’s available not everyday something close by comes up for sale.

I wish that some of these rock saws that keep coming up were in my half of the country. I'm looking for something right now. Think I'll drop Tony a line.

This year I purchased a Highland Park 12 inch saw and a Diamond Pacific 6" cab machine from a gentleman selling off his hobbies due to an autoimmune nerve disease. He was a kind and generous man and after I loaded up the saw and cab machine he said here take this Rock Rascal trim saw and this HiTech 8" lap machine along with a box of parts. I had been struggling along with an old Rock Rascal 6" trim saw with a single wheel arbor that really doesn't have enough room to cab anything bigger than an inch long. Changing belts while learning to cab (and making a lot of mistakes) was very discouraging and resulted in a lot of lousy cabs with scratches that needed to go back through the laborious process over again. Now I've got the equipment up and running and this holiday have 26 cabs ready for final polish. I ramble (my wife calls me manic digressive) but my point is I am extremely grateful to the gentleman that sold his equipment to me at a very fair price and for the extras he threw in. It has enabled me to really get into this hobby in a way I could not before and for a price I could afford. Otherwise there would have been no slab saw, no rough bigger than 2", and likely not a lot of cabs coming off that single wheel arbor. Someday I will age out and hope I find someone who was like I was starting out.

Gem'n I Sorry to hear you are having health issues to the point of giving up on the lapidary. That is sad to see but it happens. Hope you get lots of buyers for your equipment and get a good price for it all. Take care of yourself. I wish that some of these rock saws that keep coming up were in my half of the country. I'm looking for something right now. Think I'll drop Tony a line. That's a good idea. Tony has a lot of equipment for sale but you have to get to him early because the equipment usually sells out fast. I know he has a couple of saws right now that are ready to go and a few fixer uppers waiting for him to get time to work on them.
