toiv0 looks like it could be Imperial Jasper to me. Some of the really old stuff that is difficult to find now would have that color green that was translucent like that. It also had the white matrix. Beautiful stuff and one of Vince's favorites. We look for it, but haven't found any in years.

Got this in a buy and we emptied mixed slab boxes with no I'd into pails. So far this the only one like it. Can't scratch it with a knife. Jade maybe? The crust looks the same as several pieces of imperial jasper that I have and have seen.

For those who haven't seen translucent Imperial, here are pics of a cab I cut nearly ten years ago. I really liked it, but it found a home elsewhere... .
Now the backlit one.
Really enjoyed laying that one out on the slab and seeing it survive the process.
