First ... My thanks to KD for this gorgeous stone and to both KD and Banjo for their help in finishing the wrap. For the most part, I'm pleased but almost ruined it because I wasn't happy with the way it ended. I finally quit before it broke ... it was close. Total frustration ... not to mention a bit of cussing and some tool marks on the last curled end. Here's the front: Here's the back: Thoughts and opinions appreciated. Considering there's some tool marks on the back, do you think it's good enough to put on eBay? Thanks for looking, Cher PS ... Had to add this so you could see the banding in the white area, this stone is really amazing!

Fantastic work Cher!!!!! Yes! I'd say that's good enough to post up on e-bay. you may want to mention in the description that there are a few minor marks on the wire.
Good luck with the auction Alice

Forgot to put the size, it's 1 1/4 inches wide, 1 3/4 inches long (including bail).

Not only is it good enough to put on E-bay, it looks good enough to put in a jewelry store. I like it.

Absolutely perfect! The more pretty pieces I see, the more afraid I am to try it. Got to make me some cabs first. Trish

WOW , you did a great job on that, Cher. glad you persevered for that final crowning achievement! you did my stone proud! maybe you could take a polishing cloth or some jewelers rouge to those tool marks, they aren't very bad at all. i wouldn't sell it, i'd KEEP it!!! but then, i am just a bower bird at heart. it's a wonder i part with some of my stuff too. ask a good price for it Cher! Thanks so much everyone, I appreciate all the compliments. I will go and fix my page up for eBay then. I don't think anything would help the marks, it's only on the top curl on the back. It was the only spot that I used any tools on, probably why my fingers hurt ... lol I need to toughen up my fingertips but doing this should do it. Haha ... you're so right, parting with it isn't going to be easy, but I need to pay for my "addiction", or at least try. I have no idea what to put for a beginning price so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Trish .... don't be afraid to try, you can do it. I was more afraid once I got the sterling silver and the gold-filled wire because I'm so worried about wasting it but you have to just do it. Get some artisitic wire and start practicing. Thanks again, Cher

As for a starting price, what would be the minimum amount that you would accept? I just did a quick search on Ebay and most of the wire wrap pendants are between $30 and $40 USD. I would probably start there. If you don't want to part with it for anything less, then start out w/ a higher starting bid.
Another observation after seeing some stuff on Ebay. Your picture is absolutely fabulous. Use the exact picts you posted here. There is great color, no clutter, no distracting reflections. They are plain, BRIGHT, and simple and show of your work incredibly well. I think your work is every bit as good and better than some that have sold gobs of stuff on Ebay.
Tell us when you list it, maybe I'll buy it so I can I was first one to buy one of Cher's firsts!!!!! LOL,
Good luck,
Gaetz

Thanks Gaetz, especially for the thoughts on the pictures. I was just trying to think of something to use like for a display or maybe taking some pics with black crushed velvet for a background. WOW did you see some of those other pieces in there, $125.00 - $165.00 for the wrapped stones? Wonder if they ever sell any at that price.
Thanks again, back to work on the page, I'll post a note and let you know when I get it on eBay.

Hey Cher-
How 'bout treating us to a picture of your piece w/ light in the background? (kinda like what KD did w/ her most recent CABS photos) I'm assuming that agate is totally transluecent? If so, that would make a nice photo and quite possibly increase it's value.
