Here are a few I am working on for a friend and his wife in Norway. I wasn't sure where to post this so I came here. Not exactly cabs. If there is a better suited section of the forum, please move this!
I am going to tumble them in the vibe to shine them up and round them off a bit, but first I wanted to ask you, the pros, what would be the best/easiest, and most secure way, to attach something to hang them from. I am hesitant but ready to drill holes in them, and hope they don't explode while doing so. Figured I should do that before shining them up.
Thanks for having a look!

I'm not the person to answer the question I never vibed or drilled
altho the type of stone of that heart looks like it would drill fairly easily
I've seen it done free hand with a dremel on some really hard stones
are you thinking of drilling the cross too?
only other alternative I know of is epoxy bail which isn't a bad alternative at all especially the cross
be interested to see how they shine & smooth

That’s some pretty impressive tile saw work there!

They shine up something like this, mohs
That is after ao500 in a vibe. I'm confident that shine will get a whole lot better judging by some of it that is in polish right now for only a day.
Yes I was thinking of drilling the cross, but I doubt it would hold up. Any epoxy you prefer for such things?

I don't have any more of it, but I do have scraps I can try on. Thank you Ed.
What type of thing is hanging the heart in your avatar? And thanks about the saw. It's rough trying to do a 45 degree angle with an 8" tile saw, but all the rest was easy, except making the cross template

just a standard eye pin with attached bail
ya can buy eyepins by the gross 1000 for 5 bucks or so any hobby shop as them
or craft your own out of wire i forget the gauge like 20 thinner than a paper clip
then attach a bail to the eye-pin loop bails can be inexpensive to gold plated

Man that’s a nice shop rag glad you’re holding it down with some scrap rocks.
Just kidding, wow that’s exactly what I hope to do soon.

Drilling granite can be tough, as it tends to break apart.
Your saw work is excellent.

Havent drilled granite,or very many stones myself but have made my daughter 9-10 pendants last month or two. Used dremel to drill 3mm or so deep hole, and glued eye ups in drilled holes. Daughter is 10yr old and wears pendant every day regularly changing them out and no issues thus far with any of them. I followed a tutorial from here on how to do it and what to use. Let me see if can link that tutorial and you can see if would work....

forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/35856/drill-pendantThis is how I did it. Was apprehensive about trying it but was easier than expected. Used the drill bits from tutorial for first few pendants but then bought similar bits off amazon for much less $$. Ones in tutorial were like 4 for $15. Picked up set of 30 1.5mm, 30 2mm, 30 2.5mm for like $12 off amazon. Since life expectancy for drilling holes is not very high I went with cheapest option I found.

I glued the findings on with E6000 on those heart keychains, as I think you saw in my post. They're holding up nicely and it's a good option if you don't want to drill...

I was thinking of that as an option after seeing those. Does E6000 cure hard like super glue or does it remain semi-pliable? I don't really know if it cures hard or remains pliable for sure, others may be able to answer that better than I. There was a little on the stone the day after I glued the findings on, and it was easy to peel off so I'm thinking semi-pliable. You could always do a test on a scrap piece and see if it would work for you, I bought some fold over bails like the ones I used from the Rock Shed when I ordered my vibe tumbling pack and they were like 6 for seventy-five cents. One thing I should have done with those, however, is used jump rings. I may add them, I think it would be better than just using the fold over bail.

Has anyone tried JB Weld for attaching eye pins or glue on "spoon" bails? I may give that a shot

After a lot of reading I think I will give E6000 a try. It seems to be a favorite among those that make pendants and other similar things.

The E6000 will hold like crazy. You just need to let it cure really well. Let them sit and don't mess with them for at least a week. They will be stuck on before then, but I've found if you fiddle with them too soon, they may come off. I know, I did it. After they were sitting around a while, I tried snapping one off and couldn't.
ETA: Rough up the spot on the stone where you're going to attach the bail as well as the bail. Gives it a bit more to grip on to.
