It appears the E6000 is doing great! I used some 600 sandpaper on the bail and a diamond round bit to scuff up the stone before gluing and applying pressure overnight. Thank you for the suggestion hummingbirdstones . I drop tested a pendant on a chain after a couple days of curing, about a 12" freefall multiple times, and it holds up nicely. I can't move them with force greater than I think they will ever see so I think they are good! Here's the pendant and earrings I'm sending my sister: And what I came up with for applying pressure to the bails:

Wow, those turned out really great! Your sister will love them.
Once cured, the E6000 is really strong. I think you're golden.

Those are really nice. I tried prying on the finding that I glued on to the keychain for my daughter with the E6000 and it's still super strong. You should be golden.
