I haven't done any weaving in forever, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Had to do a little bit of practice first to remember how. LOL! It's a nice lab, so I wanted it to come out nice. Love working with copper again, but as you can see, it gets a little messy, esp the patina.

Good grief. You just won RTH for all of 2020, and it’s only January 2. That thing is truly beautiful. I can’t even..... wow.

Nice job, Tela! Excellent way to start the new year. Very pretty and love that lab. Thanks, all I had was 26 1/2 hard. Kind of a pain.

Lovely pendant! I like the combination of the weaving with the twin graceful, swooping wires.

Wow. That is a great looking wrap. The side view picture makes my head spin a bit. Chuck It had been so long since I did much weaving that I tried to follow a tute- not my strong suit. I ended up doing it back asswards! LOL! That was fine, though. I just turned it over. I don't know where I messed up, but it turned out that working the back side forward was much easier.

I got some copper wire on amazon in spools at great prices. They were advertised as soft. Ummmm- NOT. I intend to use it as is. Maybe next time I'll anneal, but to me, it just seems like adding too much work. The 1/2 hard was more fiddly to work with, but doable.
