it looks like the upload button flat out will not work for GoogPhotos If the photo you wish to post is on Google photos, then it already has a URL, and you don't use Cloudinary. Make sure the photo is accessible to everyone, and just insert the URL (location) using the insert image icon in the posting menu.

it looks like the upload button flat out will not work for GoogPhotos If the photo you wish to post is on Google photos, then it already has a URL, and you don't use Cloudinary. Make sure the photo is accessible to everyone, and just insert the URL (location) using the insert image icon in the posting menu. you are supposed to be able to upload from any host but based on the fact that you can't see the picture i inserted above in this post i think Google Photos doesn't work. photobucket is 0% free now and Cloudinary is highly limiting that is what i did here. i went to GoogPhotos and asked it for a shareable link, came to RTH and clicked the picture button, pasted the URL into the field and clicked insert image. on my later attempts i clicked the Upload button on quick reply and switched from local to web source and tried the sharable link Google provided. when that didn't work i edited the post and grabbed new URL that cloudinary had generated and used that to INSERT IMAGE with no success. i tried the upload button again with teh URL pulled from the browser bar while vewing the image on google photos and that did't work either. When i go look at my Cloudinary account it looks like it is not able to pull the images from google since the images are broken there as well. I am going to try something else but it looks like what is probably happening is that Google is keeping my images secure, which i guess is nice.
