You can use any third party photo hosting site to upload pictures, or the Cloudinary (the Upload File button at the top right of the page). Here is the tutorial for setting up Cloudinary:

you are supposed to be able to upload from any host but based on the fact that you can't see the picture i inserted above in this post i think Google Photos doesn't work. photobucket is 0% free now and Cloudinary is highly limiting

I view cloudinary as part 2 of this site. I set up the cloudinary account and expected it to work. But it didn’t. Finally I found where the user settings are in this site to enable your cloudinary account. Then you just upload to the “upload file” button on this site, and it auto inserts the correct url.

whyofquartz I do have to switch to desktop view to add a photo from my phone. Take a look at the “bbcode” the difference between your post and one that works.

If you are on mobile, tapatalk works as well but the resolution is limited on the free version of TT

whyofquartzOn your google photo attempt, the “web address” is a local address for your computer. In your google photos you would need to find a web address or url for the photo.
