This little machine is a real joy to operate and if I didn't have a job, I'd be home all day with it. I finally popped for something that would stand the test of time instead of the rest of my e-bay bargains. (feeling no guilt at all whatsoever). I worked from 4:00 to about 9:00 Saturday night and here is some of what I was able to do (while my tumblers were running, I might add). They are designed for wire wrapping so I have control over how much wire I am going to need to wrap them. Blue Goldstone- \ Biggs Picture Jasper- Moss Agate- Antelope Jasper #1- Antelope Jasper #2- Howelite- Wyomining Dedritic Agate- More Blue Goldstone (I have somebody who wanted some wraps of Goldstone, and I'm not including the other 2 Blue Goldstones because I am tired of Goldstone)- Green Goldstone (poor color indoors)- Three more were in the freezer so this is all the photos I'm posting. You get the idea. Somebody told me this thing would pay for itself, and I am believing them. Now I just have to buy wire enough to get these wrapped. Thanks for looking! -Banjo

Thanks for looking? Thanks for posting!!!! OMG those are amazing, Loving the antelope jasper #2 & the Wyoming dentritic agate & the moss agate too! How long does it take to make a cab like that? - so you start with bumpy rock or some slabs?
PS: I love the antelope jasper, the blue & green goldstone as well as the picture jasper & the howlite - but only those! ;D
Most excellent machine! Don't think I'll ever be allowed to own one but I can still dream...

Great work Banjo
That green goldstone looks an awful like a litte rock I got in with my emeralds. It has very shiney small specks of green here and there.
I thought it just might be a chunk of matrix with little bits of emeralds. But now that I see your green goldstone, I'm wondering if thats what that little rock might be (it's not very big... maybe 1 cm long)
Thanks for posting up those pictures Banjo

oo la...beautiful cabs indeed. But I don't think I could handle that machine...It's like everything my mother ever warned me about...fast, big and a lot to handle (okay she was talking about men, but you get the picture! I'm glad it's in safe hands.

I don't know if John will own up to it but "BearCreek' had a big influence on me. It was from 'his' recommendation. Oh yeah, he twisted my arm, and I tried to fight, but it was no use. Tweet- I start with what ever strikes my fancy, if it's bumpy, I smooth it. KD- It is amazing how much work this machine will do. I think it is part due to these Resin-Bond Diamond wheels. They are very fast, even at the 1200 grit size. I think you can do one cab well in 30min-45 min. Starting with a pre-form. Using a 10x lupe they look great. I surprise myself even.

WOW fantastic job! Love that machine, I have looked at those a couple of times, but I have to get saw first, and that will take a while, plus I have to decide if I like tumbling first, haha. Great job. Terry

Yes- It is an addiction. It's always "Just one more." I get started shaping and then wonder how deep the scratches might be, then "Oh that looks good with a matte shine, I wonder if Tin Oxide will polish it". So it goes to the wee hours of the morning and I feel like I could fall asleep at work the next day. Too many nights of that and I feel like I was out on a 'binge'. But thanks to this forum I get to post the stuff I'm doing and I appreciate the feed back from all my friends ;D -Banjo

Hey Banjo. Very cool machine. And some awesome cabs too. I guess there's no stopping you now. I see 2 grinding wheels, are the rest Nova wheels? Do those wheels that come stock with the machine? And now, how about that saw? Still waitin'? Ed

All the wheels you see are stock. 2 diamond wheels 80 and 220. the other 4 are Nova wheels. and Yes, I'm still waiting for the saw from Lortone. Each day brings me closer, but I ordered it in February. -Banjo
