If so, was wondering what you thought of it?
The Canon printer a friend gave me over a year ago eats a lot of ink. It also has only 2 cartridges.
In the past, I have always had Epson printers. Individual cartridge ones.
Had to decide whether to spend over $50.00 for more ink or get a new Epson.
I do not print that much, but do a lot of scanning. Need to print some items on photo paper. The Canon had no setting for 8.5 x 11" photo paper.
Thanks

I don’t have an eco tank, so can’t help there. I have a hp printer/scanner but the scanner pro app on my phone works much better. We get the OSIR brand ink which is a fraction of the price of HP ink, and they actually fill the cartridges up. Example: OSIR Compatible Ink Cartridges Replacement for Canon 280 281 XXL PGI280 CLI281 XXL PGI-280XXL CLI-281XXL for Pixma TS6220 TR8520 TS9520 TS6120 TR7520 TS9521C TS8320 TS6320 Printer (5-Pack) www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q4RKCJ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_hmVhEbPJWEY0FThe eco tank sounds like a good option. Keep us posted. Evan

It has ink tanks that can be filled with bottles of ink. Supposed to help prevent clogged nozzles when the printer is not used weekly. Also supposed to be more economical for ink.

I did a lot of research on the eco-tank printers when buying a printer for the business. They have mixed reviews so I decided it wasn't for me and went with Brother. I'm glad I did, it has been trouble free just like the reviews pointed to.
The main problem I heard of with the eco-tanks was the mess of adding ink and the cost/amount used.
If you end up with one I hope your experience is 100% better than theirs!

We have a Canon eco tank printer that we bought when our old printer croaked. I have to say, it's been delightful not having to change the ink cartridges all the time and they are expensive! We have not had to refill it yet and it's been over a year since we bought it. I just looked and the tanks are still about 1/2 full. I think it will definitely be more economical in the long run.

I print a lot of documents. So, I got a black and Canon white laser printer, which I LOVE. After my shitty HP color inkjet died, I got another Canon. Not so happy with that. Ink is fine and I buy cheap aftermarket ink, which works just fine, but the gui is absolutely terrible and rarely works right.
