You got a really nice shine on those, Evan! Love the amethyst and chrysocolla in quartz (?). Excellent job.
How did the kids react to the shiny rocks?
Yes that was purchased as chrysocolla. Thank you! The kids love them. Erin got the pawn, citrine and a piece of amethyst. Britney has her checkers that she made. Riley fell asleep with the green egg in his hand. Lol

El JeffA what is the gray material that Brit made the dark checkers from? It was the biggest slab you sent. It was labeled but I lost track. Turns the water red when you grind it. Softer, didn’t rally shine that great.

Softer, didn’t rally shine that great. I think that was a big slab of porcelain jasper... but turning the water red and not taking a good shine throws me. What looks like a bunch of round porcelain jasper, I assumed were the checker pieces. It is Mexican Porcelain Jasper ( as sold to me ) that I had cut but never worked on a cabber or small saw.

Mexican porcelain jasper! I think I will shine just fine. By maybe needs some TLC to prevent undercutting. Well, also, we cheated and threw the right into the AO 500, but I did get them smooth first on the 400 wheel.

Yes, it was the biggest slab. It did turn the water red. Kind of weird. Brown/red. Just like sodalite makes white. Dunno.
