That is an awesome shine! I have a lot-o, but haven't been able to get that kind of shine in my rocks. May I ask you what were your steps, grits used, type of polish, etc.? Thanks Sure! Dremeled rocks go straight to 120/220 grit stage in lot o and reg rocks go from rotary 60/90 stage to Lot o 120/220. This is breakdown for batch in LOT O. Stage 1 - 2 TBSP Sc 120/220 Ran 48 hrs Stage 2 - 2 TBSP Borax, 1/2 tsp Ao 500 Ran 48 hrs Stage 3 - 2 TBSP Borax , 1/2 tsp Ao 1000 Ran 72 Hrs Stage 4 - 2 TBSP Borax, 1/2 tsp AO polish from theRockshed Ran 48 hrs I normally do same as above recipe with 2 days each stage but didnt get to clean out stage 3 until 3rd day. Have done above recipe with 72-96 hrs in stage 2 and skip stage 3 with comparable results also.. **sorry forgot to add that I used mixed size ceramics in all stages. The rocks in picture and rest ceramics. Not sure of exact ratio but close to 50% ceramics. Usually go with 50-60% ceramics in all loads in lot o.

Many thanks for sharing not only the pics, but the recipe used as well.

Aha. Ceramic edit. I wondered if you had filler or not.

Aha. Ceramic edit. I wondered if you had filler or not. Yeah I forgot to add that originally. I prolly go much heavier than need to with ceramics but I run small batches so usually run 50% by weight in ceramics. But whatever it takes to fill the barrel I make up in ceramics.

Well we'll well, another person who's made it to the top of the ladder. These are really nice and the shapes and shine are very pleasing.
