After what seemed like forever, the carnelian and white lace are finally out of polish. Started the carnelian back on 12/16 and the lace a week later. The recipe: 60/90 = 9-10 weeks. 120/220 = 12 days, (added pellets at start) 500 = 11 days, 2 hrs borax after 1000 AO grit = 12 days, 2hrs borax after Tin Oxide polish = 9 days, rinse. And these were just different so I tried to take a close up: Thanks for looking! Jimmy

Holy Crap Jimmy!! Go to your room!!! Those rocks needed a drool warning, my keyboard is shockin' me as I type. *smile* Ok, that oughta tell, ya' I think those are beyond totally awesome. Those tubes are really neat in those two closeups. That may have taken you a long time but man you nailed it. Beautiful, thanks for sharing them, I'll send ya the bill for the keyboard later. ;D

Jimmy, those are incredible! The two closeups are eye-poppingly fabulous. Beautiful shape and shine on them all!
Having the patience to keep them in 60/90 is hard, but once you see the results, it sure makes it worth it! And your patience on this batch sure paid off!
Loverly, absolutely loverly!!

Those piece turned out absolutely beautiful. If I didn't know better, I would say those two close ups you took were amber with stuff in it. Tami

For a minute there, I thought I was looking at a post by James. Most excellent job Jimmy. Well, must be something in the name, cuz you just graduated to a higher level of polishing rocks, right up there with James. Ed
