Those look great Kim! You'r right, they do look a lot different slabbed. Can't wait to see mine out of polish to compare them to your slabs . it'll be interesting.

There is a lot of potential in each one of those slabs. What do you clean them with once you cut them?

banjo i was puttin my slabs in kitty litter and lettin them dryup in that but then you have to wash them anyway ,, so now i just put a bucket of dish soap and water next to the saw and drop them in that and it starts cleaning the oil off wile the rest are cuttin and then they get a scrub with a sponge and dish soap in the sink under runnin water and they come out good

Just curious but have you ever tried Simple Green. It sure works for taking grease out of clothing and I use it when I want to do a good cleaning on my barrels. It's a really good product.

Those are some great slabs, looks like you have a couple of areas just begging to be cut into cabs. Tami

Interesting rock Kim , thanks for the pics . Firts time I see that rock ...Yummy haha
I too have a bucket with dishwashing soap next to my saw in which the slices disappear pretty quick.
They still are a bit oily afterwards so I may have to look for a better soap like Cher mentioned .
