That's really nice. Excellant pattern and design. Amethyst sage takes a real nice polish. Have you worked with any golden sage? The purple looks much nicer it really makes the dendric stand out better To me? The best material of this type Has 1) purple 2) opalized white (? Guessing) 3) brown sage branches 4) and black dendrites you have to be careful because More than half the rock you will get? Has white crumbly matrix that can Sometimes be confused for the good Opally white. Also? Hidden fractures in the purple chalcedony Make for a challenge, and are very disheartning. I will not by rough material to slab, too much of a crap shoot. Slabs are your best bet, let someone else take all the chances. Thanks for the heads up I have only seen this material on here. And so I took the crap shot and bought the golden it has no purple like yours. It does have slash of what looks like rainbow obsidian that the buyer said there is no obsidian at that mine. It also in that white crumbly matrix shows spots of green and purple through out. These pictures don't show the other colors well at all   |
