Okay...I'm not sure what these rocks are...any help would be appreciated. what do you think? okay pic 2 I'm thinking quartz...am I way off? pic 3 some sort of congomerate...granite? Or am I way off? pic 4 I'm thinking granite again...and maybe pet wood? Help!

I know the last picture has a photo of Petrified Wood and the round ball is granite.

The last pic, the stone on the left looks like quartz or quartzite from a river bed. I have one that looks similar, and the little wholes on the outside have tiny quartz crystals inside them. Don't know about the other stuff, tho

Picture 3 look like they come out of an oven or a kiln
picture 2 look like quartz to me
picture 1 could be calcite type
and 4 is indeed as mentioned before , granite ball , petwood and quartz.

are those your locals, Herm? then yeh, quartz, quartz, granite and quartz (spam, spam rat and spam). we east coasters are DOOMED.

Actually a friend on the west coast bought a bucket of rocks at a yard sale and since I'm a rock genius (okay not really....) they asked if I knew what they were so I said I'd ask the real experts!

agree the first is probably some kind of calcite...the second picture looks like some Utah Agate I once purchased, the thord I dont know and the fourth I agree about the pet wood and dont know any othres..csroc agree
