Hello everyone, I'm a new member to RTH. Around Thanksgiving I thought it would be fun to try wire wrapping cabochons. 3 weeks before Christmas I thought it would be fun to start rock tumbling my own stones. I bought a Thumblers Tumbler B and a whole bunch of stones. Last Thursday my 8" CabKing Cabbing Machine came! I am SO addicted!!! I LOVE cutting and shaping stones. I've ordered the cutting attachment for the CabKing too as I currently am using a tile cutter that is too small for what I need (actually it's a want!) I am grateful to have found a community where I can learn and ask questions from others who actually know what they are doing! I have self taught myself to wire wrap and have been quite successful. My first stone that I cut was an opal, it turned into a beautiful .42 ct teardrop and it's a keeper! So. Much. Fun!

Welcome to RTH, from northern Wisconsin. Very nice first post. This hobby can escalate quickly, as you and I both found out.
