Just thought I'd share a few pics, I think it's the smallest I've tried to do so far. First, the rough piece I started with...  Trimmed...  Shaped a little...  And finally ready for the tumbler...I think.  |

Wonderful! I work small too, and not just with opal. If you're up for it, I'd really like to see you take rockjunquie's suggestion and make a ring. |

That's a cute little stone! It would make a nice ring stone. When it's finished you can put it in your "some day" pile. |
