hey doc i just tried the zam on the turq and it makes it have a glass shine but i can still faintly see the lines under the shine is this normal or should i try 1200 on it again and polish over??

What I do is to hand sand, then Zam! the polish. I lightly sand the top. I do not seem to have issues with lines on turquoise, I never use more than 400 grit.

ok i think i got it beat i bought some 1200 belts from that place and i didnt know they where alum oxide and not silicon .. but i think it was ment to be cause i just used one to see if it made a dif on the turq and it did no more lines i just polished one piece and its real nice when i finish the other two ill post a pic

finished i dont know what i did but the color is noff there alot more blue then that they look more green in this pic

i cant believe how easy that zam works on the turq puts a glass shine on it---and look at the quarter i used a towel to buff the stones and then i did the quarter with just the towel and it looks new haha
thanks for your help doc and banjo id still be tryin the leather belt and pullin the last little bit of my hair out hahaha
