Does anyone have a source for wi-moonstone? I read that as “moonshine” I think I’d prefer the moonshine source. Especially some apple pie moonshine. 🤪🥃

Yes! it is really hard to photograph the blue schiller effect from un-polished specimens unless you have a high grade/quality piece and are in great lighting. The place to buy quality Moonstone grade Anorthoclase is from Bill @ bills moonstones in Wausau, WI, he has a great little shop.

Video is the way to go for moonstone, I shot this dome polished piece to show how the schiller effect works for a friend to see.
