If you haven't already, add a few layers of duck tape over that bolt head to keep it from wearing out the center of the lid gasket as quickly. I'd done this with my 6 and 12 lb barrels, but just checked on my 3 lbs and I hadn't. One of the gaskets was razor thin in that spot. Carry on!

I used a couple of bandaids on mine. So far the extra cushion seems to be working well.

I'm a stagehand , I use Gaff Tape , the good stuff .
