That's one delicious cab. I can't say why, but I like the 'fool the eye' vug/cavity on the lower left side with its "shadow".

Looks kinda like one of those deep space images from the Hubble telescope. That's what I was thinking too. Nice haul @hookedonrocks and beautiful job on the cabochon. It's been a few years since we've been down to Clear Creek but you have definitely restarted the itch to go again. The last couple of times down we focused on the material out of the creek which had gotten real hit or miss on quality - but the cinnabar material from the mine is absolutely gorgeous!
