Some local finds sliced open-

Havent gotten chance to hound the San Jacinto river lately so have been cutting some of what I've previously collected.  Mostly wood and  not had whole lot of luck finding anything all that interesting lately. Cut open a cpl cool ones tonight tho! Hopefully, others find them interesting as well.    Seems like the pet wood I think doesnt look promising are the best ones and vise versa. Guess I should learn what to look for in future! Anywho here is cpl pics of same piece of wood-
