Finally got around to changing the oil in the 18" saw.
Anyway, while the sludgy stuff filters, refilled with about 2/3 new oil. Two of the (1 gallon) containers of Ultracruz were quite a ways from full. One was just over 3 quarts, the other about 3.5 quarts. Yes, they were sealed.
Anyone else experienced this?

I imagine this is major hindsight, but did you get pictures before you broke the seal? I'd definitely get ahold of whoever you purchased it from & discuss it with them.

I've had one dealing with the customer service over there and they went out of their way to make it right. I second the notion of contacting them and I bet they will make it right.

Thanks folks. Yes, my impression of their customer service has been very positive.
Getting photos would be challenging as the container is opaque and the oil is very clear. (Plus I didn't think of trying.)
But I'll contact them and see what they say.

Update: Contected via chat on their web page. My purchase was (much) more than 30 days ago, so nothing they can do. Very disappointed.
