Hi every one, Here are some photos of some cacti that are found in the US and around the World. A very unique exhibit. Enjoy ... Well ... what do you think? Robin and I really enjoyed this exhibit and are thinking about trying to find a couple of the cacti that we found there and see if it will survive where we live. If so, we might try to grow some here at the house. Take care, John

Love the plant pics! Living here in Iowa I am trying to push the envelope by growing many tropicals. Last year I planted several banana trees, palm trees and yuccas. It will be interesting to see how many survived our winter season as this is my first try!

Very cool, I love that one in the 5th pic down, the blossoms look like feathers on the end of the branches.

Thanks for the pictures. I've always loved all kinds of cactus and succulents. I probably have around 200 right now. I've been too busy with my rocks lately to get them all transplanted this spring. Got to get that done. Looks like you had a wonderful time. I've never been to Carlsbad, but I would love to see Mammoth Cave again. Haven't been there for about 25 years.

I would recommend you make a visit to NM, another hot spot in NM is Black Mesa, if I remember right it is an extinct volcano. I don't remember where it is, but you should be able to find it. I also loved visiting Sante Fe, and Albuquerque. Especially the old town parts. Tami

Good photos John. Looks like home here in AZ. I still run into a unique cactus or two in my wandering around out in the hills, or desert. Thanks for sharing the pics!
