There are more and more coming along. Here's a group shot with and without flash. I just had to include the non flash one, which shows the shine so well at the same time it kills the colors! That white area on the lower left one isn't a vug full of polish, it is good surface. Here are a couple closer shots of part of the group: And the one in the background is probably the best of all and the foreground one is the second best, and I couldn't seem to get a decent photo without too much glare. Oh well, I'll try again sometime. Thanks for looking!

Those are just too cool, love that banding and swirls and great colors too. You must have a ball when you go to your collecting place. Walking around and picking up agates like these, that's just neat. Good job Pup!! I think your photos game out great too.

Thank you! Cher, you can't imagine what it was like to walk into this new site. The creek popped up and was clear and shallow. There was all this stuff, all washed clean by the water, showing its bands. Along side were all these tempting pieces sticking their noses out of the mud on the banks and you'd start digging trying to guess how deep it was going to go. I went walking downstream "for a look" and immediately got loaded up with rocks in my tshirt and pockets and everything else. The problem here was trying to carry it out uphill with not enough space in the packs or strength to lift it all. And best of all, as they say, the best is yet to come.
