I’m David, by day for the last 22 years I’ve solved business problems with software and it has taken a huge toll on me. Then somehow I found rocks, crystals, Silversmithing and Reiki and it has changed my life. I’m in practice mode now with no clue where I’m going but looking forward to one day soon to walk away from the day job and retire and do what makes me happy. This forum of talent has humbled and taking me to another level. Its a space that one can’t ever get bored. Thank you all for the many years of info that helped me move forward. Someday I hope to help others like the “pros” here have helped me.

Some of my “practice” cabs after finally getting a cab king. For the year before I used a homemade flat lap and learned the hard way trial and error. Before finding this forum I thought I was getting good but I’m now humbled and applying tips learned here on the correct process. Sometimes I just let the stone determine its final look. Now I’ll do more classic shapes trying to get closer to the pros here.
