Thank you, Allison. That’s the finish I got after 1000 sanding cloth and I lightly hand buffed it with AO paste. I heeded warnings about less is more. I’m pleasantly surprised how it turned out. It’s as good or better in person than the pictures show. The small white area kind of looks undercut but it isn’t. |

Everyone - we're having a great contest this month with four solid entries so far. If you're on the fence about entering please do so and get them in as soon as possible!
Starting on May 1st we are going to streamline the cabochon challenge with a fresh new look and work hard to fully contain each contest within the contest month. To accomplish this fresh new start, the April contest will be closing at 11:59 PM APRIL 25th and the voting period will run for seven days from April 26th to May 2nd. The next contest will start promptly on May 1st.
