I believe the office name would be Agatized Wood. It tumbles well, but you loose a lot of material in course.

I posted the first 3 or 4 batches that came from polish. For some reason we did nto post the last three batches.
I'll do better & post more pics.
The hardest thing with the Petrified Wood is I have to carry out everything for just under a mile. Gets heavy after about 200 yards.
Oh well the things we do to collect rocks. LOL

thats some nice wood tell great colors if you dont trade it all away let me know how much for a few of the bigger pieces to buy
