I just got a digital camera (my own this time) and am getting used to it's features This is my current batch that just came out of 600 - some may end up going back into a previous grit - I hope they polish up nice This is my whole batch This is my pet wood - the bigger piece will be for my dad (maybe) This is the piece he will (might) get - I hope it polishes up nice - it looks pretty nice so far - I wanted to make a cab (beaded or otherwise with this piece not sure it'll polish up - it's the size of a baby's fist Not sure what this is, kinda translucent - it has a hollow in the upper centre - it looks like pendant material - can you see the little ducky? This is a purple piece - again not sure of what it is, and some green adventurine This one I had used a dremel on it to remove a nubbin and put it back many times in coarse grind and when it came out of this batch of 600 it had a big fissure going across it you can kinda see it in the upper part- I may have to break it up and try again - not sure what it is - but it looks yummy - too much wet glare Thanks for looking - I'll post them once they're done.

Coming along real well, Tweets! The transparent pieces with orangey flecks, I know that's an agate of some kind and I have a few in polish now, but I can't remember what it is. What is dat ? This is going to be a very nice batch, congrats! That "purple" piece looks to me to be Pigeon blood jasper. I've had problems with it fracturing, but it polishes well. Good luck and keep us posted! Nice camera,BTW, I can't do closeups with mine cookie

Tinman, I had small pieces to start this batch and a bunch of done-over-do-overs - I keep them in there for filler + they may help to wear down the rocks
Cookie, the spotted orange ones are spotted agates - they get a real nice polish on those! I have one with a toad-like inclusion that would make a nice cab!

I'M really impressed, they looked kinda dull when I took these pictures, but after 24 hours in grated Ivory soap they shine up nice! I can't wait - I'm getting good at the not peaking part - but I've noticed that if I doN,t peek - I get "clay" at the bottom of my barrels...
