Hey Marian, you did good. You did better than I did at capturing the metallic look to them. I know exactly what you mean though about the pics not showing the beautiful metallic shine they have. Isn't it beautiful though, I just love the way they look.

Those are great ! I love hematite.
I've got a hematite egg that I bought, its one of my favourites.
What state did they leave your barrels in? are you able to clean the red mess off so it doesnt comtaminate the next lot?

Very nice job on those. That is a stone I have yet to tackle. You really made them look brillient though. Pictures never seem to capture the gloss of stones, and I think we can all see that they DO have a very Good shine on them. Never as good as holding them in your hand though. I just love that look of metal on stone. Great work! I may have to find somebody to trade me for some of that. Thanks for the pics!! -Banjo

There's only one way to find out though lol! Marian

What state did they leave your barrels in? are you able to clean the red mess off so it doesnt comtaminate the next lot? The barrels are perfectly fine, actually all I did was wash them with Ivory soap flakes, good as new! Marian

To get that shine did you use AO and then CO on the polish? Tami Just the AO, I'm suprised at the shine myself. I used a 4 course package from Thumlers I havent had a bad batch yet. I also use pellets from course to polish for all batches of rocks, I hate dings! Thanks for looking... Marian
