i finaly took alittle piece of the small chunk i got with my thunder eggs there both with flash but the darker one is more what it looks like in real time

Hi John , that is a neat looking rock. I believe it to be sedimentary as i have a big cousin of it here in my possession. I have had it on the flatlap and I think it could be ready for polishing.
You have a very good shine on yours.

hi jack thats called blue mountain jasper if you have a larger piece id realy like to see it when you get it done i think this stuff is cool lookin---- i used M-5 polish and a leather belt on it and it came out pretty good

Damn Sands, that's spectacular! What gorgeous colors, at least on my puter, it looks kind of a blue-green color ... just awesome! I believe I see the reflection of your camera lens in there too.

right up there with the morrisonite in beauty sands. i think this is my 2nd favorite.
