I slabbed a small piece of Royal Imperial with my trim saw. Thick slab with a nice pattern on the bottom and a hacked up top. I started with a high dome and kept grinding until the pattern improved and a vug that was not on the bottom appeared. I now have a low dome cab and hopefully the rest of the vug disappears after sanding. Even if it doesn't the vug will be less noticeable when polished. I've got 7 preforms dopped and am waiting for the glue to set.

I'm not a fan of the picture hosting site but it is easy to use. I reduce my pictures by 70% to save screen space. I can post larger.

That would be better. If someone is at work and clicks on one of your pictures and gets a screen full of that .....
