Any suggestions on the type of dye/pigment used to color the epoxy used for laminating doublets?

I make opal doublets from time to time and back them with black jade. To help to reduce the likelihood of visible bubbles, I blacken the 330 epoxy with a little powdered paint pigment. I typically use mars black, but I've also used carbon black (aka ivory black or lamp black). A very, very tiny amount blackens it up well. So I would recommend a dry powdered pigment.
