Before this rock game, I used to scroll through threads/topics looking for interesting content. Not any more --- now I'm looking for rocks, then I get hooked on looking for rocks, and maybe later I check for content.

Thank you everyone for participating and for all the positive feedback I've received - folks have described it as being fun and a "timely" and a "welcome distraction" from world events. I personally am enjoying it just look for new rocks to pop up and collect them for fun. There are 22 different rocks being fed randomly and I know for a fact that I have not seen at least 6 of the rocks appear yet which leads me to believe that I'm missing them on those page loads that I think were blank. I think we've arrived at a conclusion date of April 1st for the rock hunting part. I'm optimistic that we are going to turn the corner in April and start seeing things getting better so for me a conclusion date of April 1st makes sense symbolically and rockjunquie and aDave supported this as well. So, at 10pm PDT sharp on 3/31 (I would say midnight but I can't guarantee I can stay up that late and still be sober enough to man the controls) I will suspend the game and will post the final tally leader board. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers - most likely to be some kind of box of rocks and quite possibly a cabochon or two and potentially a pendant.

Oh yeah, April Fool's Day, that's appropriate. The one thing this game had shown me is how obsessed people here are about anything rocks, lol. Thank you for making me stay up at all hours looking for more rocks. I think I am going blind because if my obsession!

My goodness, I blinked and he went from 1000 to 1300!
I wonder if I can convince my boss I need to refresh a website a million times a day because rocks are on the line.

Tommy. How often do the numbers on the Leader Board refresh? Board says I’ve found 22. My bag says 33.

Is there a way to tell which specific rocks have been collected? I have a lot of Turquoise. It appears to be the most common one I see. Am guessing there about 12-15 others in my bag.

Wife and I might do two hour shifts, stagger meals, sleep, until the end.
Maybe next time we can shoot down aliens instead of rocks.
