Ok, why can't Robin pick up a rock when RocksInNJ has 4.2 million ? I too am having @hummingbirdstone luck except no rocks coming into view at all ! rockpickerforever loves the past. Isn't this a characteristic of rapidly elevating age he he ? She's to busy looking at the past to catch this present stab ha ha. And RickB , dang, over 1400. Click ad, close ad window. Right click ad, block ad on this page, scroll slider until it disappears, click rock, cancel blocking the ad. Then you win.

Looks like RocksInNJ has out foxed the random rock planter where even Tommy can't find them as fast also. Edit - just had a rock show up when typing this post ! Yippee - #2 !! Nah, I'm not trying to win - It would be considered bad form to aggressively try to win my own game  I just want to beat rockjunquie and aDave  Seriously though, I'm sure there is some electronic way to beat the system but I trust everyone to do the right thing and maintain the honor system and I have no worries. I've also been poking around into ways of collecting the quickest and what I've found is to set the page up on a single thread (no responses) or even the leader board page - and go into your Edit Profile and change to a light color background theme. I don't consider that cheating - it's just using the tools provided to clean up the most rocks in the shortest amount of time. |

Is there a way to tell which specific rocks have been collected? I have a lot of Turquoise. It appears to be the most common one I see. Am guessing there about 12-15 others in my bag. No, the program isn't able to collect that information about how many you've collected of which rocks. It's a totally random feed (literally using a randomizer) from a pool of rock photos that I'm still adding to here and there. I added three new gemstones today - has anyone spotted the new ones? I think it seems like turquoise shows up the most but I think it's just because it's very colorful and easy to see on any background. At the conclusion of the game I'm going to launch a follow up game that shows the entire pool of rock photos (yes, in their tiny state) and it will be a identify as many as you can contest for a nice prize. I haven't worked out all the details yet - like whether submissions would need to be private to keep everyone from feeding off of everyone else's answers etc. |
