Here is a couple pictures of that tuxedo agate I got from the Gem Shop last weekend. It is mainly black and white, with a hint of red in it, sorry the pictures didn't come out that good.

Those few little slabs cost me $25.00. They are no more than 2"X2"

WoW! Those must be lined with gold. They are gorgeous tho, I think I would have had to get at least one of them too.

Is that also called "Black and white agate"? I NEARLY bought some tumbling rough last week when I went rock hounding on-line.

That's a great haul of slabs you made. I guess the Gem Shop will be closed for awhile while they restock . All the slabs look great, but these tuxedo agates get my vote for gold medal.

I have no idea what I'm gonna create, I have never done wire wrapping or made jewelry. I guess when I go on winter lay off I should learn. Right now I have all my polished stones in candy dishes all around the house. I just like looking at them and rubbing them. Kinda weird huh?

no, not really weird.........alright, very weird
Nah, just kidding. I wouldn't mind having some in bowls around my house but sofar I only have aquired a handful of rocks. Hopefully I'll find some stuff on my outing tomorrow. Wish me luck!!

Are you going to make cabs with those. I have seen some for sale and they are really pricey, but beautiful. You're so lucky to be close enough to go to the Gem Shop and pick out what you want. I''m looking for a place to buy up a bunch of slabs cheap enough to practice on. Don't have a slab saw and haven't managed to cut any thin enough yet to make cabs.
