With 30 or so dremel cabs currently in pre polish in the lot o i got busy working on more new ones. Did these 5 yesterday- Self collected unknown river gravel- Mexican crazy lace- Blue lace- Pietersite- pockets not deep enough for high grade pietersite but got a small slabbette of ow grade stuff for like $7 on ebay. Golden area only chatoyant area on this cab Moroccan Agate- really liked this piece until I cropped the photo just now to post and realized there is a fracture on top half of cab... That's all for now, but got a dozen or so preforms knocked out yesterday as well so hopefully will get some more knocked out this week. Thanks for looking!

Very, very nice. The first one you mention is unknown river gravel. Is that from one of your San Jacinto hounding trips? I seem to recall you mentioning that before. If so, maybe I'll have to break into my MFRB of that material that was sent to me a while ago.

If That mfrb was from txrockhunter then I'm sure it's worth opening as he seemed to have very good eye for hounding the San Jacinto gravels.

Excellent cabs! My favorite is the Pietersite, I think. Having just that one chatoyant area really makes it pop.

The fracture in your Moroccan looks like it could be internal, and doesn't appear to break the surface. Not a problem - it's a great cab.

It was first time working with Pietersite and it's easy on the dremel and definitely unique material. Cant justify taking a dremel to a slab of the high grade stuff but sure would like to!

I'm hoping it is internal but if not I cant complain as i got the slab for a steal of a price at $1 off ebay! Should be able to get a cpl more cabs out of the rest of the slab too.
