Too cold to do much work, but I decided to grind the preform. It cuts like Rhodochrosite and started on the 220 hard. Nice and smooth with no chipping. I feel good about grinding and the only question is how it polishes and it will probably be acceptable. I don't expect it to fracture when doming.  |

I finished it. Raining now so lighting isn't good. Pretty much auto pilot working on it. Polish 7.5/10  |
