my mail lady was SO mad at you, Pho! she delivered this box to my door and the first words were "This weighs a TON!". she had to put the box in plastic bags just to be able to carry it to the door. now, this woman is on the high side of 300 pounds, not the woman you want to have angry with you! anyway, i'm amazed at how much stuff you guys can get in one of these boxes! there is some amazing stuff here! can't wait to crunch some of this up! Well...I can't tell if anything is missing....looks like most if it made it there is one piece..hmmm..should I file an insurance claim on this?
Glad it got there. Have fun.

Can those flat rate boxes make it over to Canada for about the same price?
That wood looks amazing... I really want some!

I wish Tweetie Those flat rate boxes are only good in the US. If they're being shipped to Canada, regular rates apply.
I always request that my rocks be shipped in a padded envelope. Wheighs the same, but it's cheaper.

Tell your postal delivery lady to take a good look at the condition they delivered that box in and then ask why we insure things....even a box of rocks...hmmmm ...looks like someone played football with it..hope they broke their foot.... I worked in a postal facility at one time and know how they handle boxes....

;D *smile* I have to admit, I never insured any of the boxes of rocks I've sent out. That stuff looks awesome KD! You done good Pho but you guys need to get some of the strapping tape with the fiberglass strands in it and completely wrap the box. It won't cost any extra to ship it but it'll save those edges from busting open. Get going on it KD, can't wait to see some of that stuff with the awesome shine you put on things.

Oh, KD, youre going to have fun with this! Use the chisel end of a rock hammer and it will cleave off so evenly. I said it before, but I coyld swear I smelled fresh cut wood when I was breaking it into strips. Use the saw only after you have experienced beaking open the outside to uncover wood grain that's millions of years old. Damn, I'm such a bleeding heart tree hugger, I work my own nerves.

I got a box of pet wood from Pho last week. My mailman said to my husband 'Looks like someone got a box of rocks'. My husband said 'How'd you know?' The mailman said 'You mean you really got a box of rocks?' My husband said, 'Yeah, my wife's insane...'.
Thanks Again Pho - They're gorgeous!

Except my hubby is a mailman, he must be glad he doesn't have anyone like me on his route - our mailman rides a "mail-mobile" so he's pretty safe. But I've never gotten a box like that either - WOW I would love to get a box like that!

I got my box from phoenix yesterday. I saw that box sitting on the porch when I got home and couldnt wait to get it inside and open it up. He definately knows how to pack that box full.
I have all these lovely rocks to work on. Can't wait....makes me wish I had another tumbler. I will make sure to post pics once I have a batch of the pet wood done.
Thanks again Phoenix Tonya
