That a gem of presentation Evan !
And it had to be Venice Mom side of family is from that area I’ve told this story many times on RTH It what lead me into
Scuotere il cuore
Marble & Venice is in my blood
This is one version I wrote to my first puppy love We haven't seen or spoken to each other in over 40 years.
She contacted my brother through Facebook & that led to a out of the blue email to me.
Vicki !
All my life I been looking for a worthy partner to accompany me on a search, a quest. Ya see… my great Uncle Umberto owned a marble company in Chicago. Early 1900’s
He made this fabulous wall size marble mosaic picture of
‘Beauty & the Beast.’
I’ve only seen a black & white photo of it. That was in my Moms possession.
(Unfortunately, for the last 20 years that photo as been unaccounted for. Perhaps, it will show up now that we will have go through things). Anyway the lore is that the picture was donated to a Venice Museum.
I have done some cursory research trying to discover which museum. To no avail. That's fine.
I propose that you & I trapes the Venice museum scene in search of the lost marble mosaic –
Beauty & the Beast.
We may fail in our quest!
Yet I think it would enlightening experience, mostly
Ah,,, these are the things dream are made of, Vicki
The fact are all true.. Who knows? Dreams can come true …

A beautiful cab. The first thing I thought of was a scene from The Lion King.

Nice one. I think it looks like the pride rock scene from the Lion King.

mohs One thing I learn from you, You know how to tell the story, put the meaning into the scene. Not just grinding pretties. You have someone in mind as you grind, Venice is more than a pretty picture, thanks Ed.
