I was complaining that I couldn't find any flattish pieces in my stash to tumble to make somewhat of a cab or pendant. Well today I got my order and most of it is very nice - actually some pieces that were probably destined for slabbing or cabbing and got into my order Yipee! Here is a pic of my whole batch of assorted agates. This one is especially nice - it's very flat & shiny without me doing anything to it - the other side is lumpy & porous - doesn't it look like the US? or part of it? These are pretty nice too - I like the green I'll surely try wrapping this one if I can get a nice shape to it - the backside is just plain pitted green Here is a pic of my 3# of pet wood Some of the lighter pet wood - it's almost pink - some still have the bark on it! Yeah that's a shine - I got it this way - can't wait to see what I can do with these as I'm looking for wrapping material Thanks for looking

that one does look like part of the US. Nice assortment you have there.
And I like the Eeyore watch too LOL

Cher, I got this stuff from Robert Hall Originals in southern Ontario (whom I've ordered from before and really liked his stuff) the pet wood is under $3/lb as is the assorted stuff. I can't wait to get it going...
Flowoxsgarden: the watch only one of my probably over 15 watches I put it there for size reference not realizing that watches come in many sizes (I like big watches - hubby wouldn't even wear some of my bigger watches)

Tweetie, I put in a price list / stock list request to Robert Hall the day after I last PM'd you, and I still haven't got a response. Oh well. Great looking rocks! Yes, that rock does look like the US I once bought a "slab scrap" mix from ebay. It had a lot of pieces that were flat and shiney on one side and pourous on the other. I didn't throw the entire e-bay order in the barrel, but I did throw in a hand full with some agates (average size of the pieces were the size of a quarter or less). The ones that are pourous on one side seem to be taking forever.

Alice, He owns a pewter business - which is his main business, if you call him instead you may get better results, they don't have a price list per se, nor a web site yet. His stock seems pretty good - what I've gotten from him has been very good the 2 times I ordered from him. If you need a little list of what he has given me a price for, I'll PM you monday (as the list is at work)
