Odds and Ends; A Thunderegg halve I picked up already cut from Rusk and I polished; IMG_2024 by Findrocks, on Flickr An old piece of petrified wood from Lajitas Mesa on the the river to the west of Terlingua. This was collected over 20 years ago. Need to go back and look for more as I still know where, just a matter of these old knees getting up to the spot. Have a few larger pieces with the agate veins running through them. IMG_2029 by Findrocks, on Flickr Piece of Obsidian, the color of which I have never seen. Supposedly a new deposit from Mexico. The couple was selling some at the Deming Show. This piece was given to me by my friend who I was helping; IMG_2035 by Findrocks, on Flickr Henry

The second one is beautiful and that obsidian is really different. There was some nice Petrified Wood in the area this was collected. Only a few pieces had the agate veins. Have some more polished, if I can find them I will post pictures. Never seen this color of Obsidian. Some of the material he was selling had darker shades running through it. He had a couple of pendants made from it , they were attractive. Henry
