After 6 weeks of lock down my efforts have shifted to building a practice lane for my sons bowling so he does not get too out of shape. I did manage to get a few rocks into the lot-o but I now have a 36 foot long bowling lane going down the center of my rock workshop. Just thought the effect was cool on this photo Thanks for looking Chuck

Chuck,
Great work as usual! I'm finally back in my house and now with COVID i'm slammed at the hospital. Got the tumblers rolling again - been since August - looking forward to producing some stuff again!

Those are beautiful! The reflection of the camera lens is awesome!
I'm also interested in seeing some pics of the bowling/practice lane you made for your son.

I seen something similar posted on facebook so I designed one that fit our needs a little better. Full length approach to work out footwork and timing. 16 feet of lane to work on hand release. Kind of like a baseball player having a batting cage in their backyard. One step drills Full 5 step

Wow, Chuck, that looks amazing! Your son is so lucky to have you for a dad. Being able to build that for him to practice on is surely a labor of love.
Vince and I were watching a PBA bowling tournament a few weeks ago on a rainy Saturday afternoon and I noticed that a lot of the pro bowlers are now using a two-handed release that looks very weird to me. They seem to do really well with it, but I can't imagine it would be comfortable. Has your son ever tried bowling like that?

Thanks. Yes the two handed ball release is really popular now. In high school bowling it might be over 50% already. My son can do it well and does it for fun sometimes but prefers to stick to the traditional method. A lot of people consider the two handed release is a bit of a cheat. It is really easy to create more revolutions and power that way which creates more hook. Creating revs and hook with one hand requires more skill so a lot of young bowlers now just go right to the two handed style. Chuck

Wow I love those fortifications in those. Where do you get yours Chuck? Thanks Bill. My Botswana agate rough has all been purchased in person at rock show or from estates. I have never ordered any blindly online. Same goes for my Brazilians. Chuck
