Hi Tinman, These are from DAH Rock Shop aka Discount Agate House in Tucson, AZ. All hand-picked pieces. I wanted a bit more of the Citrine, but most pieces had more of clear/white than the yellow. I think the best part of visiting a rock shop is pawing through the goodies and picking out the nice stuff! Most of the amethyst had good color with very little clear/white stuff. The porcelain jasper were little chunks in a bucket (the big stuff was in a giant bin), so I picked pieces that grabbed my eye. If it wasn't so darn hot, I should have headed over to the rockshop instead of going swimming with the kids. Oh well, hopefully, next year, my brother will have his new house built and I/we will have a free place to stay when I WILL go the Tucson Rock show!

oh, yeh, those are some nice rocks! i don't think i've ever seen such nice citrine. the amethyst is splendid as well. that porcelain jasper is always such dynamite stuff, too, wow.
i don't think i've ever seen/heard of rainforest jasper before, i'm curious to see what it looks like inside! i wish i had a brother that had a house in Tucson!
