Thanks again to earthdog who sent me this little green swirly stone. Not sure what it is, green quartz or maybe some kind of moss agate. Anyway, hubby grabbed it and requested a wrap for his mum. She doesn't wear much jewelry, not even sure if she wears pendants at all but I think she wears pins and brooches so I'll explain she can pin it through the bail. Anyway, thanks again earthdog, it was perfect. Cher

Thanks! Amazingly, it was much easier than I thought it would be being that it's such a small stone. Not quite 1/2 inch across and about 3/4 inch long. Hehehe wish it wasn't going to his mum but I promised. Anyway, thanks again, just wanted to post this one so earthdog could see how it turned out. I won't bug ya with all the pendants anymore. *smile* Just get so excited to get one done and want to share. Cher

Very pretty. I like to see what everyone does with their rocks once they are polished. All these wire wraps are so pretty.

Great job, I've never figured out how to make the nice spirals like you've done. Maybe one day Thanks for sharing!!! Jeff

Hey Jeff, I use a small tipped (about 1/8 inch) pair of round nose pliers to start the curl with. If the wire hasn't been worked too much, I curl them by hand but if it's too work hardened I use my plastic nose pliers to roll them.

Nope, this was one that earthdog sent me finished. I had admired it in some of his pics so he stuck it in with the slabs he sent me. It's really a beautiful piece and took a gorgeous polish, I'd love to get more of it.

I think that is beautiful. I can see you have solved the cunnundrum of 'how to do the back' by making it as attractive as the front. Excelleeeeeeeeeeeent!! Very nice work. That does look like a moss agate. I'm having to do my homework on it now.

Banjo, I wish all of them would turn out like that, I think it adds to the selling attraction when it can be worn either way. Unfortunately most of mine look like ... ummmm well, not exactly like this one. *smile* Thanks everyone, I do appreciate the compliments. This one went together so easy, guess it was making up for the pain in the arse laker. Now if I could only figure out how to wrap my rose quartz teardrop. Cher
