Finished up a sodalite off cut and applied a hidden binding to it. 3 hidden bindings, the left one was sold as West Australian Nephrite jade, but it is too soft, has a greenish milk and wrong SG so is probably diopside/tremolite mix, the middle is the sodalite, the other is dino bone from Utah. Also completed another pacific islander hook

Beautiful! I love the hidden bindings. Very elegant.
Too bad about the "jade", not hard to be mislead about it.

Beautiful binding technique. The cabs are also beautiful. I'd like to see one of your cabs "naked", before you rope it.

Those are really cool looking. It’s nice to see something different and out of the box.

Gorgeous! How do you do the hidden bindings? They're so cool.

Whats a hidden binding? Is there like a "T" drilled across and down and just slipped through and wound over with the rope or material?
Looks great!
