Here ya go, I got a used/homemade polisher/sander/grinder for 80 bucks, with a bunch of disks and polish pads. A bunch more slabs, some lake superior agate, porclain jasper, and alot of good advice from Eugene, the owner of the Gem Shop and the one that named ocean jasper, ocean jasper. He also told me how the got the tuxedo agate, they soak it in honey for 3 months, then boil it in sulfuric acid, to get the black in the slabs. I wanted to get more of the tuxedo stuff, but I actually was running out of cash, and the wife wouldn't let me use the credit card, otherwise the Jag would have been full, again. I did buy the wife some neat stuff at the giant flea market there in Cedarberg yesterday though, so she wouldn't feel left out.

Oooooo nice lot of lakers there. You'll have fun with those!! Ok I am soooo jealous. It's just no fair that everyone has rocks shop to go to and I don't! What an awesome bunch of slabs. Any idea how many you have now? *smile* You'll be set for tumbling for quite a while. Good job on the equipment too.

Ya know that wouldn't be a bad idea. Now that you put that thought in my head, I might try it later this summer. I'd have to read up on it, and talk to Eugene again. My luck, it would explode or something and I'd have the fier department here to save my house or something.

Is there a link to find the slabs on the website - I think I'm only finding tumbling rough - Do they sell slabs online?
BTW great haul - if you find you're running out of space, send them all to me - specially the porcelain jasper
